 The house with the Stone door  - a grand  three-bedroom two bathroom house constructed from the stable wing of the Maison d'Estella.
 The actual grange, with the horses stabled in an arch built into the thickness of the 12C town wall, was converted into a boulangerie in the eighteenth century and it is the still  existing bread oven (complete with massive stone door) that dominates the spacious ground floor kitchen and living room.
 A large (30 square meter) bedroom (two double beds), with an eighteenth century wooden ceiling, is on the first floor with adjacent bathroom. Two more light and airy bedrooms are on the second floor, one with a double bed and  en suite bathroom the other with twin beds.
 A small court - the actual walkway of the ancient ramparts, complete with arrow slits - leads up to the spacious rooftop terrace. This has uninterrupted views over the old town to the cathedral, the château and the canal du Midi.

An attractive and sunny house on the square next to the "Maison d'Estella", in the midst of the old town. It comprises, the ground and first floors, of a large 17th century detached house with a magnificent stone carved lintel forming the old front door and vestiges of a grand fireplace in the first floor front room.
The accommodation consists of three double bedrooms (one very large with a second bed), a small sitting room, two bathrooms with bath/shower and w.c. and a ground floor kitchen/dining room with its original 17th C wooden beam ceiling opening into a private walled courtyard garden. The house is fitted out with French antique furniture.

Maison d'Estella is a unique house in a unique setting. It was one of the grandest in the old town, built in 1585 by the rich merchant Pierre d'Estella.
It lies around a charming stone-paved courtyard filled with flowers; a magnificent stone Rococo staircase leads to the upper floor bedrooms and terrace. On the ground-floor there is a spacious living/sitting room featuring a fine open inglenook fireplace and a large kitchen-dining room which opens into an interior courtyard with a further bathroom. The first floor consists of one twin bedroom and two double bedrooms furnished with French antiques, the main bedroom provided with an adjacent cabinet de toilette (bidet, washbasin). The second twin bedroom is on the second floor along with the bathroom (bath/shower, w.c.).All bedrooms look out over the courtyards.
A roof terrace covers the entire top floor, an ideal sun trap with breathtaking views to the distant mountains of the Haut Languedoc.

This pretty house was originally an echoppe, an artisan's home and workshop on three floors connected by a twisting stairway. He lived on the upper floors, worked on the ground floor, and sold his wares beneath the arched entrance.
Today the workshop is the kitchen/dining room. The first floor has a comfortable double bedroom with adjacent bathrooom (shower, washbasin, wc.) The second floor is another light and airy bedroom with two double settee beds; it can also be used as a sitting room. The totally secluded sun terrace occupies all of the top floor.
